At the moment my situation still blows but when I happened to come across this fan art by chance I decided to put some time aside to post it anyways. This is pretty sweet and I always love having a first shot at posting some new ROM fan art that hasn't made it's rounds on the internet much. This really makes me wonder what effect ROM's neutralizer would have on Green Lantern's power ring. Would it merely neutralize GL's constructs or could it go so far as to neutralize the power ring's connection to OA even? Not to mention what sort of scenario could possibly have GL protecting the Dire Wraiths? A big thanks to the artist for doing this, good job Xum Yukinori.
This piece by Xum was for a weekly mashup blog feature called 'The Line it is Drawn'. I was the one that suggested this particular crossover because I have such fondness for ROM and love how it turned out. (I'd wager its about as awesome as the Crystar/Rom piece I requested awhile back.)

DeleteWow This is So wicked cool!! I love how natural a mash-up this Wow! It's as you brought up Dave, just how would Hal's ring fare up against Rom's Neutralize, things that make you go Hmmmmm!

More than heroes usally know. The good guy is almost always in the dark (especially Green Laterns). This is a good mashup.
DeleteCool crossover. I have in my head a piece I want to do but just haven't been able to get myself to do it. Right now I'm caught up with other things that, while not making me any money, are eating up a lot of my time and energy.

thanks Brian i totally understand where you're coming from i've been having plenty of problems of my own. i sincerely hope your situation improves soon i know what you're going through is so fucken stressful. i'm glad this posting gave you a bit of a mental break from it all and i hope you'll check out what Lee has posted in recent weeks too.
DeleteWhen I was younger it always seemed Hal was getting in other heroes way. Batman especially, so this kinda brings back memories, even though it's all-new! What a wicked job!
