Damn this guy knows how to draw! Especially from a figure composition stand point. It would have been nice if he had put all these epic Marvel cosmic characters into an actual scene together as opposed to drawing them in 3 separate scenes on a single page but that's just me nit picking. On some particulars in regards to Rom I really like the way Frisano drew his head and eyes.
Also, for those of you who are interested in getting a copy of Bill Mantlo: A Lifetime In Comics I may have some good news for you in the next day or two.

Absolutey gorgeous!
ReplyDeletei knew you'd like it :)
DeleteIt looks like he was doing character studies, and if that's all he ever does, it's worth it. Just from a "this is how to draw things in correct proportions" standpoint. Dang. Nova's hand alone is a work of art.
ReplyDeleteI'm having trouble not staring at it. And the rest of it is pretty darn...er...pretty. :)
Dude! This guy is Phenomenal wow Dave Sweet find! An wow how our taste is the same! I Love how he did the head and eyes too!! Nice thickness to his build all just Awesome!!
ReplyDeletehey ma man when i say i got something cool for ya do i ever lie?
DeleteYou Kidding I never doubted you man!! I must also say he does Nova and Silver Surfer Justice as well!! They have that classic look about them also very Impressive style!
ReplyDeleteThis has the makings of the most epic team-up ever. The artist truly learned from some of the greats. I love how Rom is a perfect blend of man and machine here as the Galadorian technology envelopes him instead of encumbering him. He really looks like a force to be reckoned with while the Surfer and Nova are ready to give him the back-up he needs!
ReplyDeletethanks for the comments guys i'm sure the artist would appreciate all your words of praise.
