More Bill Mantlo inspired fan art from the recent C2E3 Chicago Con


Hat tip to Rick Hansen again for providing me with these photo images of the front and back covers of Marvel Now's Indestructible HULK. The awesome custom front and back cover art (by artist Corey Hamscher) is part of a raffle fund raiser for Bill Mantlo's care.
I really like this guy's dynamic drawing style. And look at the faces too. He even managed to make Rom's "face" look expressive.


And one other cool thing from Rick to share. Here's a Michael Golden signed copy of Micronauts #1.

    Cloak and DAGGER! Awesome art, my favorite teenage druggies! You know, Tandy was from Ohio in the comics... made me feel like I had a shot! Years ago- I bought this Toys "R" Us exclusive Cloak and Dagger figure two-pack and it came with a "collectors tin" with them on it. I keep my weed and papers in it to this very day! Sweet irony!

I remember once you linked to a Hulk review I did, either Visionaries: Peter David Vol. 6 or John Byrne Vol. 1, and you didn't tell me you had- man, I was SO confused as to why I had triple my normal views all of a sudden...       next time you do a video make sure you include that Cloak N' Dagger weed tin. that's also the kind of shit i love hearing about in your videos. good luck with your new home i remember you mentioning that in one of your videos. speaking of self promoting, come back later this week for my Rom/Iron Man posting i know you're not a big Iron Man fan but trust me you'll like that posting.

      Will do! I just got in from The Dirt Mall, actually; got a shit-ton of comics... best part is- I got some Mantlo stuff and didn't even know it until I got home! How's that for a pleasant surprise? I'll film shit tonight and have it up no later than Saturday...
      I'll be back to check out the Iron Man offering. Hell, now that I can leave comments on here- you're probably gonna get sick of me!
      Oh, Dudge- what do you think of BlogSpot as a whole? Service-wise and ease of use and all that? Blog.com is ALWAYS FUCKIN' DOWN! -I'm sick of it... lookin' for a new place to post my garbage. I haven't even been able to post this Fantastic Four Roast review because every time I go to do it- the damn site is down again...

      just got in from my local comic shop actually although i didn't come away with any Mantlo stuff this time. i've had pretty good luck with Blogger no major complaints. it's pretty user friendly from my experience so far. it's become a bit more intricate since i started using it about 3 years ago but still pretty easy to figure out for anyone who is computer literate. looking forward to your next video of course i need to get my Youtube "F" bomb fix.

    Oh my gosh. I really want that Cloak and Dagger/ ROM picture. I'm green with envy. Not with hulking out, or anything. Pretty sure I haven't been exposed to any gamma radiation lately.
